 HOW IS YOUR CONTRIBUTION HELPFUL?
Salt Lake Warriors will provide the opportunity to community to play team handball through school programs, tournaments, leagues and summer camps. However, in order to popularize this great sport, the management of SLW is in need of financial support.- In order to make these events possible, the club relies on funding from membership dues and from the support of the US Olympic Community. However, this funding only partially covers the costs, and the rest is paid out-of-pocket by the members. These expenditures leave many members hesitant or unable to make equipment or attire purchases.
- Finances would allow: renting a space for practices and tournaments, organizing coaching and referee clinics and promotional games held in different schools. Some of the money would also be used for equipment purchase (goals, balls, jerseys, etc.).
- In addition to being the president and head coach if the Salt Lake Warriors, Amir Haskic, is also the US Men’s National Team Coordinator. USA Team Handball is the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of handball in the United States and is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization. Your financial support will give the opportunity for some members of the Salt Lake Warriors to excel at a national level and become a part of Team USA. The chance for our players to do so is at an all time high!
